NJ Licensed Environmental Well Driller

We are seeking a  NJ Licensed Well Driller with a minimum of 5 years of experience in  environmental and geotechnical drilling . The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating drilling rigs and equipment to install monitoring wells, collect soil and groundwater samples, and support environmental site investigations. A  valid New Jersey Well Driller License   Class A or B CDL are required.

• Operate and maintain drilling rigs and support equipment for environmental and geotechnical investigations.
• Install monitoring wells, soil borings, and perform well abandonment in accordance with state DEP regulations.
• Collect soil, groundwater, and vapor samples following standard operating procedures and QA/QC protocols.
• Interpret drilling logs and prepare accurate field documentation (boring logs, well construction diagrams, daily activity reports).
• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Supervise and train drilling assistants or helpers as needed.
• Transport equipment and materials to job sites using CDL vehicles.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and field staff.

Qualifications:

• Valid New Jersey Well Driller License (Environmental or Master preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental drilling and sampling.
• Valid CDL (Class A or B)with clean driving record.
• Proficient in hollow stem auger and direct push drilling methods. Mud rotary and air rotary a plus.
• Familiarity with NJDEP regulations and ASTM sampling standards.
• Ability to lift 50 plus pounds and work in all outdoor conditions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred or willing to obtain).
• Good work ethic and attendance a must.
