Dental Assistant — Crafted Dental Co.

Kuna, Idaho | Part-Time / Full-Time | $16–$25/hour, DOE

We're building something different in Kuna — a practice where exceptional dentistry and an exceptional experience aren't a tradeoff, they're the standard. Crafted Dental Co. is a brand-new, technology-forward practice founded by Dr. Tyler Sykes, and we're looking for a Dental Assistant who wants to help build it from the ground up, not just work in it.

We're prevention-first, digitally driven, and intentional about every detail — from salivary diagnostics and laser periodontal therapy to 3D-printed veneers, CBCT-guided implant planning, and same-day digital dentistry. We do high-quality, ethical dentistry with intention, crafted for you — and that goes for how we treat patients and how we treat our team.

What You'll Do

• Assist chairside for restorative, surgical, and hygiene procedures, including 3D-printed veneers, guided implant placement, and CBCT-based treatment planning
• Support prevention-first hygiene protocols — salivary diagnostics, air-powder biofilm therapy, laser debridement, and periodontal therapy
• Prepare and maintain digital workflows: intraoral scanning, photos, x-rays, CBCT imaging, and future in-house 3D printing
• Maintain rigorous sterilization and infection control standards
• Help patients feel informed, comfortable, and cared for — never rushed
• Grow into expanded function over time as we train you to the top of your scope

What We're Looking For

• A national RDA/CDA certification, or Idaho's Expanded Functions certification, is plus (and something we'll help you pursue as you grow into expanded function work)
• Experience preferred, but we'll invest in the right person over the most experienced résumé
• Comfortable with — or excited to learn — digital dentistry: intraoral scanners, CBCT, 3D printing, lab work
• Precise, detail-oriented, and calm under pressure
• Willing to learn from others and growth-minded
• A team player who takes ownership and solves problems without being asked
• Genuinely cares about patient education and long-term outcomes, not just getting through the day

Schedule

• Work hours are Monday-Wednesday 7am-4:00pm
• Patient treatment hours are 7:30am-3:30pm
• This schedule is subject to change based on growth/needs
