You may have to employ weapons or force to maintain discipline and order. Veterans are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Maintain order and security of inmates in a correctional facility. Work any shift, being assigned to a variety of posts including armory/key control, housing units, kitchen, medical, visitation, etc. Recognize military service to qualify for positions. Qualifications High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent. Will be provided paid training, and if applicable, licensed as a non‑commissioned security officer (state of employment; cost paid by CoreCivic). Valid driver's license. Demonstrate ability to complete any required training. Available to work any hour, any shift. At least 18 years of age. Requires criminal justice experience.
