Teen Aide Position
We have centers in the following locations: Central Falls, Cumberland, East Greenwich, Pawtucket, Providence, Smithfield.

A typical shift for a Teen Aide will include:
- Working alongside the classroom teachers to provide a safe, healthy, structured, welcoming space to grow and learn.
- Engaging with children in learning - reading, playing, and having fun!
- Inspiring children to be lifelong learners.
- Showcasing your tech savvy skills by using an electronic daily tracking app.
- Assisting with keeping the classroom clean and organized.
A Teen Aide will always be accompanied by a staff member and will never be left alone with children.

This is a part time position, during after school hours (typically 2:30 / 3:00 5:30).
Our learning centers are open between the hours of 7:00 a.m. 5:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. We have locations across Rhode Island.
Requirements:
Looking for experience after school? Join our team as a Teen Aide. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with children, preferably in a child care center.
We are looking for someone who has the following skills:
- A personal demeanor that is warm and friendly.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Organized and able to prioritize and multi-task.
- Team-oriented and willing to work with others.
Qualifications:
- 16 -18 years of age, must be actively enrolled in and attending high school.
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Able to read, write, speak and understand English, bilingual encouraged to apply.
- Must pass Department of Children, Youth and Families (DCYF) Clearance Request (CPS).
- Able to engage in physical exercise with children (walking, running, crawling, bending, twisting).
- Visual and hearing acuity.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds.
