General Maintenance Worker

Job Description

General Maintenance Duties

Performing routine maintenance to ensure structures remain intact and interior fixtures and systems work
Handling minor electrical, plumbing and heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) service tasks, such as replacing filters and light bulbs and troubleshooting leaks
Completing outdoor improvements, such as cleaning gutters, fixing fences and repairing cracks in sidewalks, driveways and parking areas
Improving a structure’s appearance by painting, staining, sealing and varnishing
Assembling furniture, appliances and electronics
Installing shelving, whiteboards, artwork and blinds
Performing routine electrical, plumbing and HVAC system inspections
Updating work order tickets with notes
Keeping tools, equipment and supplies organized and accurately inventoried
Other Duties as may be assigned
