Strategy Director

The Senior Growth Strategy Director is responsible for driving the growth of the Strategic Business Unit (SBU) by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities. The role combines strategic planning with direct business development execution, leading efforts across the full opportunity lifecycle, from identification through deal execution, while partnering with cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑impact growth. Responsibilities Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new growth opportunities aligned with long‑term SBU objectives, including market expansion, service line growth, and targeted client segments. Develop and implement strategic growth plans, translating high‑level priorities into actionable initiatives that support revenue generation and market positioning. Lead the planning and structuring of business development efforts across the opportunity lifecycle, including opportunity identification, qualification, and pursuit strategy. Partner with Business Development and proposal teams to ensure alignment with client needs, pricing strategy, and organizational capabilities. Support the development of pricing approaches, deal structuring, and overall positioning strategies to enhance win probability and long‑term value. Collaborate with cross‑functional partners, including Operations, Client Services, Recruitment, Finance, and Legal, to ensure growth initiatives are feasible, appropriately scoped, and positioned for successful execution. Analyze market trends, client needs, and competitive activity to inform growth strategies and provide insights to senior leadership. Track and evaluate the performance of growth initiatives, providing reporting and recommendations to optimize outcomes and refine strategy. Develop frameworks, tools, and processes that improve consistency, scalability, and effectiveness across business development and growth efforts. Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership and business development teams, providing guidance on opportunity strategy, market positioning, and execution planning. Support the expansion and strengthening of client relationships by aligning growth strategies with client priorities and long‑term partnership opportunities. Qualifications Five years of sales and management experience, preferably in healthcare staffing and/or consulting services. Bachelor's degree preferred. Overall knowledge of business functions and an understanding of services, business strategy, policies and procedures, and the impact of the role on the organization. Ability to work independently, proactively identify and accomplish business needs for the betterment of the team and organization. Strong analytical skills, goal planning, and time‑management capabilities. Excellent customer‑service orientation and ability to influence and negotiate mutually satisfying agreements. Strong communication and relationship‑building skills with the ability to present oneself positively as a representative of the organization. Salary $165,000 - $180,000 annually. The position may also be eligible to participate in a company incentive plan and/or commission plan.
