Work Environment\nThis remote role allows you to work from the comfort of your home environment while being an integral part of a committed team of professionals. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct thorough mental health assessments that honor the cultural contexts of each patient, developing personalized treatment plans based on their unique experiences. \n
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs, utilizing a variety of modalities to achieve optimal outcomes. \n
- Facilitate individual, family, and group counseling sessions, addressing various mental health concerns while fostering resilience, coping strategies, and overall well-being. \n
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive care effectively. \n
- Respond to mental health crises with expert intervention techniques, maintaining a calm and supportive presence during challenging situations. \n
- Educate clients and their families regarding mental health issues, treatment options, and resources available in the community, empowering them to make informed decisions. \n
- Ensure all patient documentation adheres to legal and ethical standards, maintaining accuracy and confidentiality at all times. \n
- Participate in regular case meetings and cultural competency training to stay updated with industry best practices and integrate new knowledge into your therapy approach. \n
You will be working with a diverse array of clients, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, the LGBTQ+ community, and immigrants. Your role will involve gaining an understanding of the cultural factors affecting mental health and adapting your therapeutic approach accordingly.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology. \n
- A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas. \n
- Proficient in delivering therapy with a strong emphasis on cultural competence and responsiveness. \n
- Experience in providing individual and group therapy, specifically utilizing strategies that reflect an understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds. \n
- Effective crisis intervention skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism. \n
- Strong communication skills with the ability to establish compassionate relationships with clients from varying backgrounds. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and relevant technology tools. \n
- A commitment to adherence to ethical standards, confidentiality, and professional boundaries. \n
- A collaborative team player who thrives in a multidisciplinary environment. \n

- Two or more years of clinical experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on serving diverse populations. \n
- Demonstrated history of utilizing culturally responsive practices to enhance client engagement and treatment outcomes. \n
We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
