Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 286 Charting: Epic Daily Census: 36 Patient Age Groups: Adults, Geriatrics Additional Unit Information: Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Unit Secretary Patient Diagnoses: Diabetes, Hypertension, Coronary Artery Disease, Seizure, Stroke, Transient Ischemic Attack, Chronic Respiratory Disease Skills Required: Accessing/Managing Ports Blood Product Administration Cardiac Telemetry Central Line Care/Management Chest Tubes Interpreting Dysrhythmias Isolation Precautions Management of Cardiac Drips Telemetry Monitoring This role may involve assignments to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November each year. Travelers should be prepared for potential assignments during this period.
