Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) – Friday Opening
Location: Southern Maryland (Tri-County Area)
Pay Range: $45.00 – $56.00 per hour (Based on experience)
Job Type: Part-time (Friday required, with growth potential)

The Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled, passionate, and reliable Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to join our team starting 1 day per week (Fridays) . The office opens at 7:00 AM with morning huddle and patients start at 7:30 AM. Adult recare appointments scheduled for 50 minutes and paid lunch break provided. Last patient appointment ends at 2:30 PM. As our patient base expands, this position holds strong potential to scale up to additional days for the right candidate. This is an excellent opportunity to establish yourself in a growing practice with a predictable schedule.

• Schedule: Fridays (Core day) 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
• Growth: Opportunity to add more weekdays as the practice grows.
• No weekend hours

Core Responsibilities

• Perform thorough dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing.
• Conduct comprehensive oral cancer screenings and periodontal assessments.
• Take high-quality digital radiographs and intraoral photos.
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and personalized treatment plans.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date patient records using our digital management systems.
• Adhere strictly to all OSHA, CDC, and state infection control guidelines.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active Maryland Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license (Required).
• Current CPR/BLS certification (Required).
• Local anesthesia certification (Preferred).
• Strong communication skills with a gentle, patient-first bedside manner.
• Experience with Eaglesoft or Curve software (Highly preferred).
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and alongside our clinical team.

• Associate’s Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred
• Current Dental Hygienist licensure
• At least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygiene
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelines
• Able to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedly
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
