Sample Receiving Technician (Sample Splitting) Location: Altamonte Springs, FL (Suburban Orlando). Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 am–5:00 pm, 1st shift. Eurofins Environment Testing is looking for a Technician in our Sample Custody Department. The role requires a highly organized individual who follows instructions closely and thrives in a fast‑paced production environment. Responsibilities Receiving and unloading incoming samples or consignments. Verifying that documents are accurate, complete, and correct; resolving discrepancies. Logging samples into the Lab Management System (LIMS) daily to assign lot numbers. Labeling samples for identification and delivering them to appropriate departments for analysis. Performing splits and composites as required. Preparing bottle kits. Shipping empty coolers back to clients and other Eurofins labs. Maintaining a clean, safe work environment, cleaning and organizing the department daily. Monitoring freezer and cooler temperatures daily to ensure compliance with SOP. Stocking and supplying inventory; assisting with inventory management. Conducting client interactions in a professional manner. Other duties as determined by local management. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly. Strong organizational skills. Basic math skills. Proficiency in using LIMS software. Capability to operate forklifts and other equipment for moving heavy shipments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated awareness of safety procedures. Requirements Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship. Professional working proficiency in English (reading, writing, speaking). Pay $17 per hour.
