TruOak Financial Partners is seeking a Director of Brokerage to expand our life insurance brokerage network, recruit independent producers, and help existing partners grow their production.

Our firm is growing, and we are investing in a leader who can make brokerage a bigger part of that story. You will have the opportunity to shape the department, build your presence in the market, and work directly with senior leadership to turn new relationships into lasting business.

Recruiting producers and driving production are central to this role. You will identify brokers and agents, earn their attention, and give them a compelling reason to place business through TruOak. Once they join, you will stay involved, helping them uncover opportunities, navigate cases, and put our resources to work.

As a non-captive firm , TruOak offers the flexibility independent producers value, supported by life insurance expertise, advanced planning resources, case support, and access to firm leadership. Your job is to make those capabilities meaningful to each broker’s business.

We are looking for someone who picks up the phone, gets in front of producers, follows through on difficult cases, and builds relationships that lead to repeat business. You should be equally comfortable opening a new brokerage relationship and helping an established producer move an opportunity forward.

• Base salary of $75,000–$150,000 , based on experience

• Recruit and activate producers: Attract independent life insurance brokers, agents, and financial professionals, and help them begin placing business through TruOak
• Maintain a consistent recruiting pipeline through outreach, referrals, industry relationships, and networking
• Present TruOak’s products, planning capabilities, and support in ways that address each producer’s business needs
• Grow existing relationships: Stay connected with brokerage partners, identify new opportunities, and increase ongoing production
• Help producers evaluate life insurance solutions, navigate carrier options, and work through case-placement challenges
• Coordinate with internal resources to support onboarding, case development, and follow-through
• Coach producers on business development and opportunities within their existing client relationships
• Set and track recruiting, producer engagement, and production goals with firm leadership
• Represent TruOak at producer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities

• Active Life and Health insurance license

• 3+ years of relevant life insurance experience , including brokerage, distribution, sales, or producer development

• Strong understanding of life insurance products and the case-placement process

• Demonstrated ability to recruit producers, grow brokerage relationships, or increase life insurance production

• The ability to earn credibility with independent brokers and communicate why they should do business with TruOak

• Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and follow-through skills

• A forward-thinking approach and the accountability to turn conversations into measurable results
