Job Description
We are seeking a Part-Time Veterinarian to join a team serving dogs and cats. Shifts will be 2 full days, and one partial day, which eventually will grow into 3 full shifts if possible. The veterinarian will provide wellness and routine care, general medicine and basic surgery, and occasional urgent and emergency care, with opportunities for professional growth through a mentorship program. Surgical skills should include basic spay and neuter, dental extractions, mass removals, and ......... Accrued Paid Time Off available as well as a Partial benefits package supplied, excellent home/work balance provided with no overnight care or On-Call requirements.

Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient examinations for dogs and cats.
Conduct diagnostic testing and develop treatment plans.
Provide general medicine, preventive care, and surgical procedures.
Deliver urgent and emergency care as needed.
Manage anesthesia, dentistry, prescriptions, and medical records.
Educate clients on diagnoses, treatments, and preventive care.

Preferred Qualifications
New York State veterinary license.
At least one year of experience in veterinary medicine.
Experience with small animal medicine and veterinary surgery. Dental experience a plus, but willing to contribute towards CE for dentistry
Knowledge of anesthesia and dentistry.
Strong client communication and clinical judgment skills.
