Phlebotomist

Job Title Phlebotomist Location 3535 Salem Ave, Dayton, OH 45406 Work Schedule Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm rotating Saturdays Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely. Process billing information and collect payments as necessary. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. Phlebotomy certification or completed training program or at least 3 months of experience as a phlebotomist. Preferred Qualifications 2 years or more of phlebotomy experience. Additional Job Standards Phlebotomy certification or training program must come from an accredited agency. Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently or as part of a team. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Reliable transportation. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Must be able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Pay Range $17.75 – $25.92 per hour. Benefits Employees scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life, STD/LTD, 401(k), paid time off (PTO) or flexible time off (FTO), tuition reimbursement, and employee stock purchase plan. Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours are only eligible for the 401(k) plan. Employees on a 7 on/7 off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO. Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the PST Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.
