Key Responsibilities\n

As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for:

  • Group Therapy: Facilitating engaging group sessions that foster shared experiences and mutual support among clients, helping them connect with one another while exploring common challenges.
  • \n
  • Individual Therapy: Providing personalized and empathetic counseling, guiding clients through discussions about their thoughts and behaviors, and collaboratively developing coping strategies and actionable steps.
  • \n
  • Treatment Planning: Collaborating with clients to create tailored treatment plans that are goal-oriented and focused on individual needs and preferences.
  • \n
  • Progress Monitoring: Utilizing various assessment tools and feedback mechanisms to track and evaluate client progress, adapting treatment methods as necessary.

  • Team Collaboration: Regularly communicating and coordinating with colleagues to ensure integrated care for clients, sharing insights and strategies on complex cases.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is supporting teens and young adults facing a range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma. You will engage with clients aged 18 to 30 in our PHP programming, providing them with tools and support tailored to this critical developmental stage in their lives. Your work will be instrumental in helping them navigate obstacles and open pathways to achieving their personal and emotional goals.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A current Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) license in the state of Illinois.
  • \n
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
  • \n
  • At least one year of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting.
  • \n
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to connect with a diverse client population.

  • Experience in facilitating group therapy and individual counseling sessions.

Preferred Experience\n

While one year of experience is required, preference will be given to candidates with:

Compensation and Benefits\n
