Clinical Nurse Supervisor - Intensive Care Unit (Full Time, Night)

Responsibilities Has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, excellent nursing care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the organization Patient Care Services Division Utilizes Jean Watson’s Theory of Caring, Relationship Based Care, and NorthBay’s professional nursing practice model, supports the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization Responsible for leadership and supervision of direct care staff, daily operations, leading the team to meet service goals, maintaining and promoting professional development Delegates care to other health care personnel consistent with their scope of practice, job description, competency Other duties as assigned Works under the supervision of the Clinical Manager Education Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing. Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing required (Employees who are grandfathered are exempted). Licensure and Certification Valid and current RN license by the State of California. Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS. ACLS required National certification in specialty area preferred. Experience Three years of acute care experience in area of specialty required. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills. Compensation Structure NorthBay Health uses a structured compensation framework. Staff-level positions use a step-based system (Steps 1–5) based on years of directly related experience, with Step 5 representing 20 or more years of experience in the role. Manager level and above positions are paid a fixed annual base salary and are eligible for a variable incentive compensation plan. Physician compensation is structured based on specialty and role requirements. Remote Work Disclosure NorthBay Health is primarily an onsite organization due to the nature of healthcare. Some roles may allow hybrid or remote work based on business needs.
