Orlando Health Physician Group Clinic Manager

Manages human, financial, and materials resources in a team relationship with the Physician Lead and Director/Physician Practices or COO or Senior Manager, Practice Operations to deliver high quality, customer focused cost effective, responsive health care services in an outpatient clinic setting to ensure patient and staff satisfaction in support of the mission and goals of the Orlando Health Physician Group (OHPG) and Orlando Health.

Education: Bachelor degree in a healthcare, business or related field; or Four (4) years of directly related work experience may substitute for the bachelor degree (in addition to the requirements listed in the experience section).

License & Certification: None.

Experience: Two (2) years of health care experience, to include one year in a lead or supervisory role.

Responsibilities include managing approximately 4-15 physicians and 15-40 team members, developing and overseeing standards compliance, ensuring regulatory and accreditation compliance, managing operational and capital clinic budgets, maintaining an effective revenue cycle, enhancing efficiency and quality of practice operations, coordinating with leadership to provide seamless care, developing long-range strategic plans, hiring, training, supervising, evaluating and developing practice staff, overseeing maintenance of physical facility, negotiating and coordinating operational changes, facilitating information exchange, analyzing and maintaining data collection systems, promoting the Service Line, ensuring coverage during staff shortages, and managing various human resources functions.
