Key Responsibilities\n

  • Directly engage with assigned clients through both virtual and in-person meetings to assess and treat symptoms of major mental illnesses and emotional disorders.

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and team members to develop, implement, and monitor integrated care plans tailored to the specific needs of clients.

  • Create a supportive environment by establishing rapport and trust with clients and their families, ensuring a compassionate approach to care.

  • Conduct thorough screenings, assessments, and timely interventions for clients requiring immediate assistance or crisis management.
  • \n
  • Maintain accurate documentation and timely completion of reports, aligning with organizational protocols and ethical standards.

  • Provide counseling services, including individual, group, and family therapy, with a focus on evidence-based practices that empower client recovery.

  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve clinical skills and stay updated on best practices in mental health care.

  • Contribute to agency committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and promoting best practices across the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse population of clients with significant mental health challenges often exacerbated by their acute medical needs within a hospice care context. Engaging with clients in this setting allows you to provide holistic care that addresses both emotional and psychological aspects of their health, ensuring their dignity and comfort during critical times.

Qualifications\n

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work (a Master's degree in Social Work is preferred but not mandatory).
  • \n
  • Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification.
  • \n
  • A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a clinical setting, preferably within hospice, mental health, or behavioral health.
  • \n
  • Strong knowledge of ethical guidelines, mental health laws, and treatment modalities related to diverse populations.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and an ability to connect empathetically with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in providing care within hospice, palliative, or similar services.

  • Proficient in using electronic health records (EHR) systems and other digital tools to streamline client management.

  • Ability to work effectively in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

  • Previous experience in crisis intervention and trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 70,000 to USD 85,000 annually based on your skills and experience. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes health insurance, retirement plans, and opportunities for continued education and professional development.
