Medical Physicist

Medical Physicist - Lewiston, IDThe Medical Physicist will perform duties pertaining to treatment machine calibration, dosimetry, treatment planning, and monitoring of radiation received by employees. He/she will also have responsibilities in helping with simulation of patients and teaching therapists in areas of dosimetry and computer planning and supervises the Medical Dosimetrist.Minimum requirements (must haves to be considered):Board Certified in medical physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR) preferredPrior experience in radiation oncology requiredWork conditions/hours:Normal hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday-Friday. However, schedules may vary in accordance with business necessity. Minimal exposure to radiation. Lifting will be required from time to time, i.e., transporting of patients.
