Chef de Partie

Spoon and Stable, Gavin Kaysen's flagship restaurant in the North Loop area of Downtown Minneapolis, is looking for a Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, and break down your assigned station for service.
• Complete daily prep lists accurately and efficiently.
• Communicate inventory levels and ordering needs to the chef team.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation.
• Follow recipes, preparation standards, and service procedures.
• Uphold all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene requirements.
• Communicate effectively with the team and apply feedback to continuously improve.

What We’re Looking For

• A warm, positive demeanor and strong self-discipline.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and a collaborative team player mindset.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to stay focused while multitasking.

• Evening and weekend availability
• Conversational English vocabulary
• Ability to stand on your feet for up to 10-12 hours and lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Must have a reliable smartphone capable of running the Opsi app to access daily prep lists and recipes

• Paid Time Off (PTO), in accordance with Minnesota's Earned Sick and Safe Time law, is accrued at a rate of 1 hour per 30 hours worked and is available for use as soon as it is accrued.
• Employer-subsidized health, dental, accident, life, and short term disability insurance plans are available to Full-Time employees (30+ hours worked per week) after 90 days of employment.
