Installation Engineer

Heerema Marine Contractors is seeking enthusiastic engineers for their Houston office who are early in their career (~0-3 years experience) and ready for a challenge. Successful project execution demands successful project preparation.As part of this preparation, you will find yourself involved with the following: Vessel motions analysis for offshore transports Development of procedures and written manuals Working with Drafting Department to generate drawings and visual aids Working with Equipment, Procurement and Logistics Departments to ensure proper preparation, maintenance and delivery of needed equipment/assets Working with Subcontractors in developing solutions and ensuring preparedness ahead of execution Providing technical representation on our vessels offshore Domestic and international travel up to ~20% The scope of your work will be wide ranging, blending the analytical with the practical, and requires a learning mindset.However, Heerema is a place where you truly “get out of it, what you put into it”; and is a place for one to grow as an Engineer in a very collaborative environment.
