Outside Sales Representative - Wholesale Nursery

Michigan & Ohio Territory

Earn $100,000+ | Base Salary + Uncapped Commission | Vehicle Allowance

Medford Nursery is looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow an established territory throughout Michigan and Ohio. If you have experience in horticulture, nursery sales, landscape supply, or the green industry—and you're motivated by uncapped earning potential—we'd love to meet you.

What You'll Do

You'll be the face of Medford Nursery throughout your territory, developing long-term relationships with:

• Independent Garden Centers
• Re-Wholesalers
• Landscape Supply Companies
• Green Industry Professionals

Your responsibilities will include:

• Growing sales within an assigned territory
• Visiting customers and developing new business opportunities
• Assisting customers with plant selection and product recommendations
• Managing customer orders from quote through delivery
• Building lasting customer relationships through exceptional service
• Monitoring market trends and identifying new sales opportunities
• Attending trade shows and industry events

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently while building strong customer relationships.

Ideal candidates will have:

• 2+ years of outside sales experience
• Nursery, horticulture, landscaping, or green industry experience
• Knowledge of shrubs, perennials, roses, or nursery stock
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout Michigan and Ohio

Preferred Experience

• Wholesale nursery or garden center sales
• Existing relationships within the green industry
• Horticulture or Plant Science background
