Electrical Maintenance Engineer

Electrical Maintenance Engineer Permanent | 48 hours per week | Monday to Friday (start time from 6am) £16–£18 per hour depending on experience (circa £47,000 inclusive of on-call allowance and overtime) Role summary This is a multi-site Electrical Maintenance Engineer role supporting agricultural and site-based equipment within a regulated environment. You’ll be responsible for planned maintenance, electrical installations and fault finding across a range of systems. The role suits a qualified electrician who is comfortable working independently, travelling between sites and participating in an on-call rota. Key responsibilities Carry out planned and preventative maintenance across electrical equipment and systems Diagnose faults, isolate power supplies safely and complete effective repairs Install electrical systems and associated equipment, ensuring correct certification Replace defective components to maintain safe and reliable operation Participate in the on-call rota (every 3 weekends) Work in line with site safety procedures and electrical regulations Maintain clear communication across multiple sites What we’re looking for NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent 18th Edition preferred (training can be provided) C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing advantageous Strong electrical fault-finding skills Understanding of commercial and residential installations (agricultural experience advantageous) Experience working safely within regulated environments Full UK driving licence Pay & benefits £16–£18 per hour depending on qualifications On-call allowance of £100 per weekend plus hourly rate if called out Company vehicle and mobile phone (private use available as taxable benefit) Pension scheme Staff shop discounts Training and development support Long service awards and staff events Employee support services If you are a qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer looking for a varied, multi-site role with strong earning potential and long-term stability, apply now #J-18808-Ljbffr Cooper Lomaz
