Clinical Specialist, Coronary - Boston

Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist for its Vascular division to support coronary product adoption in the Boston area. The role combines field-based case coverage, customer education, and sales support for minimally invasive vascular treatment devices, with emphasis on vessel closure products.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and clinical support during case coverage in cardiac catheterization and interventional labs
• Educate hospital customers on vascular product clinical applications through presentations and demonstrations
• Identify clinical needs of physicians and hospital groups; develop relationships with key decision makers
• Troubleshoot product issues and coordinate solutions with internal teams across sales, marketing, and development
• Support regional case coverage beyond assigned territory as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and work experience
• 2-5+ years of related work experience
• Ability to travel 50% within assigned region
• Patient interaction experience in lab or operating room settings (preferred)
• Relevant technical certification (preferred)

Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
