Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, where you will help manage entry and exit activity, monitor assigned areas, and support security-related protocols with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, help to deter incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $19.73 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for a busy logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, gate areas, loading zones, and perimeter, noting security-related concerns and reporting unusual activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
