Registered Nurse/RN II – Emergency Full Time Evenings Work location: Texas Health Rockwall - 3150 Horizon Rd, Rockwall, TX 75032 Work hours: Full Time, 36 hours weekly, (3) 12-hour Evening shifts 1pm‑1am, including weekends and holidays Training: Must be able to attend training at the corporate office in Arlington 8am‑5pm during the first 1-5 days of hire Emergency Department Highlights Engaged leadership that actively works to assist staff. Education & Experience Nursing Diploma required Associate’s degree in Nursing required Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred 1 year experience as registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program required Emergency Department experience strongly preferred Licensure & Certifications Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support required before providing independent patient care and must be maintained quarterly CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training required within 90 days of hire and maintained annually ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support required within 90 days of hire PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of hire TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course preferred upon hire A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
