Welder Fabricator - Traveling/Per Diem Opportunity Marine Welding

NSC Staffing has an immediate opening for an experienced Welder Fabricator in Dutch Harbor Alaska. Pay: $30 per hour Per Diem: $55/ per day worked Company Housing Provided Travel to Alaska Provided

NSC Staffing is seeking a skilled Welder Fabricator with strong welding experience, including stainless steel and aluminum. This position supports commercial fishing vessels and ship repair projects including pipe fitting, plate inserts, stainless factory modifications, and fabrication of commercial fishing equipment and parts.

This is hands on work performed both in the shop and onboard vessels. Candidates must be able to work independently, manage layout and fit up, and weld out to code standards.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Minimum 3 years of welding and fabrication experience
• Proficiency with 7018
• Must be able to run 6010 root and 7018 fill
• Must pass a 2 1/2 inch XXH 6G weld test
• Experience welding steel, aluminum, and stainless steel
• TIG experience required
• Ability to perform basic layout, cut, fit, and weld independently
• Shop equipment experience such as shear or press brake preferred

Requirements:

• Must show up on time and work consistently
• Must pass drug test and fit test prior to hire
• Valid drivers license required
