Assistant Director of Nursing RN

Job Overview Richardson Nursing & Rehabilitation is searching for a talented ADON/RN to join our team. We provide short‑term to long‑term care, various living options, and professional clinical services. ADON Responsibilities Assist Director in managing clinical operations of the nursing department. Develop nursing programs to ensure quality patient services. Plan and assign workload to nursing staff on a shift basis. Supervise and guide nursing staff on their daily job duties. Ensure nursing staff follow department procedures and policies. Address patient complaints promptly to ensure patient satisfaction. Ensure that nursing staff perform assigned duties accurately and timely. Provide job training to nursing staff to meet department goals. Ensure that nursing programs comply with federal, state, and local standards. ADON Requirements Graduated from an accredited nursing school and possess a current RN license in the state of employment. Previous experience as an Assistant Director of Nursing and experience with geriatric residents is preferred. Successful completion of a training and competency evaluation program is required. Completion of orientation required by company policy. Health screening and TB test (if required) within two weeks of employment. Mandatory drug test within 90 days of hire. No criminal activity, verified by a criminal background check. Provide satisfactory evidence of identity and eligibility for employment within three (3) days of hire.
