Litigation Attorney

Overview Lamson Dugan & Murray LLP is seeking attorneys to join the Firm’s growing litigation practice group in our West Des Moines location. About the Firm Lamson Dugan & Murray’s (LDM) West Des Moines office is growing! However, it also offers the support of a larger office in Omaha. LDM has more than 40 attorneys practicing within the areas of litigation and corporate law. LDM’s extensive experience enables the Firm to offer expertise in 25 different practice areas, allowing the Firm to remain committed to quality representation, accessibility, and relentless hard work on behalf of clients. Responsibilities This position will handle a variety of cases including, medical and professional negligence defense, insurance disputes, personal injury, and many other areas. The ideal candidate should have: 6-15 years of litigation experience, preferably with experience in insurance defense or general civil litigation. Experience in legal research and writing, first or second chair jury and bench trials, conducting depositions, managing cases, and meeting deadlines. With the appropriate amount of experience, being hired as a partner is possible. Candidates with less litigation experience will be considered depending on qualifications. Ideal Candidate Profile & Background This candidate should be a self-starter with practical and technical experience, looking to enjoy the support and reputation of a respected Firm. Qualifications 6-15 years of litigation experience, preferably with experience in insurance defense or general civil litigation.
