This role involves coordinating nursing care, providing patient and family education, and supporting transitions of care within a 13-week assignment. Job Details:

• Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

• Required Qualifications:
  • Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: 1 year of recent RN experience in an acute care setting, with at least 2 years of cardiac ICU RN experience. Must have current RN license per state requirements. BLS certification required; Midwest states require Basic Cardiac Life Support for healthcare providers (BCLS) certification with an expiration date beyond 3 months after start date. Additional certifications like ACLS and CCRN are preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • CCRN certification and additional specialty training as per facility requirements.
• Additional Information:
  • The role involves floating as needed and requires an ECG exam pass during orientation.
  • Experience with pulmonary artery catheter, IABP, Impella, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator management is essential.
  • Responsibilities include patient care coordination, education, leadership, mentoring, and teaching in a critical care environment.
