Shipping/Receiving Clerk

AGL is looking for a Shipping & Receiving Clerk to work in Fort Riley, KS. Responsibilities Process and verify incoming equipment from Army unitsin accordance withAR 710-2, AR 735-5, and DA PAM 710-2-1. Match items to turn-in documentation (DA Form 1348-1A, DD Form 200, hand receipts) for accuracy and completeness. Update Armylogisticssystems (GCSS-Army, DPAS, or LMP) to reflect receipt transactions. Stage and transfer items todesignatedwarehouse or yard locations. Prepare and process outbound shipments of Army equipment for transfer, redistribution, or disposal. Generate and review shipping documentation (DD Form 1348-1A, bills oflading, TCMDs, DD Form 1149). Coordinate with transportation teams for scheduling, loading, anddispatch ofshipments. Verify load plans, ensure cargo is properly packaged, marked, and secured. Maintainaccuratelogs of all inbound and outbound shipments. Input transactions into Army-approvedlogisticsand transportation systems (e.g., GCSS-Army, TC-AIMS II). File andmaintainshipping, receiving, and discrepancy reportsin accordance withISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System and government auditing standards. Work with Army unit supply personnel to resolve documentation or shipment discrepancies. Coordinate with Supply Technicians, Material Coordinators, and Warehouse Specialists to ensure smooth equipment flow. Communicate shipment and receipt status to site supervisors and the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR). Follow OSHA, Army, and company safety procedures during loading, unloading, and material handling. Ensure compliance with HAZMAT packaging, labeling, and transportation regulations. Maintain a clean, safe shipping/receiving work area. Physical Demands & Working Environment: Must be able tolift upto 50 lbs. and perform routine standing, walking, bending, and reaching tasks in warehouse and field environments. Must also meet all physical requirements necessary to perform assigned duties, including working in extreme heat or cold, high, or low humidity, blowing sand and dust, confined spaces, heights, and other inclement weather conditions. This position involves working both indoors and outdoors, periodic overtime, and exposure to heat, dust, cold, and adverse weather conditions. Records of goods received. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred; Associate’sinlogisticsor supply preferred. Experience: 2–4 years of shipping, receiving, or supply experience (military or contractor environment preferred). Familiarity with Army supply/transportation documentation and systems highly desirable. Army regulations: AR 710-2, AR 735-5, DA PAM 710-2-1. Transportation documentation and standards: DTR 4500.9-R. Army systems: GCSS-Army, DPAS, LMP, TC-AIMS II. Proficiencyin Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Ability tooperateforklifts, pallet jacks, and other MHE (OF 346licensepreferred). Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills. Detail-oriented with the ability toidentifyand correct documentation errors. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Must have a REAL ID. Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance. Must be able to obtain andmaintaina Common Access Card (CAC). Must be able to obtain Tier1/ NACI (Public trust) background eligibility. Employees maybe requiredto perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to travel within the United States asrequired.
