We are currently seeking an experienced culinary professional to join our team in the Cook 1 position. This role is intended for a strong line cook who can work confidently across kitchen stations while also helping support training, inventory, ordering, sanitation, and overall kitchen standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Culinary Excellence: Prepare meals that are a feast for the eyes and taste buds using your own signature flair.

• Kitchen Ownership: Manage supplies and equipment while minimizing waste; report unsafe equipment or low supplies to management.

• Safety & Hygiene: Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, and exceed local cleanliness and hygiene requirements.

• Teamwork: Assist with washing up, kitchen duties, and additional tasks as needed; provide guest assistance when appropriate.

• Professionalism: Wear your uniform with pride and maintain high professional standards.

Hierarchy & Advancement:

• Cook 3 (Entry): Focus on cleanliness, food safety, recipes, and prep.

• Cook 2: All Cook 3 duties plus mastery of all stations, proteins, high-level prep, and equipment inspection.

• Cook 1 – Position Currently Hiring: All previous duties plus training new team members, ordering/inventory, and overseeing sanitation.

• Chef de Partie: All previous duties plus technical training, recipe assistance, and overseeing quality/schedules.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a cook.

• Strong teamwork and leadership skills with excellent communication.

• Must be able to safely lift and carry up to 50 lbs. and regularly ascend and descend multiple flights of stairs as part of daily job duties.

• Must obtain a Food Handler’s Certification.
