Job Responsibilities Edit video for assigned shows and reporter packages. Use editorial and visual judgment. Tune in incoming feeds from satellites and ENG sources. Create and add special effects to stories. Must have the ability to meet broadcast deadlines. Requirements Must possess working knowledge of nonlinear editing and newsroom computer systems. Familiarity with Edius and Bit Central a plus. Must have good news judgment. Minimum of two years of experience as a video editor in a television news department is recommended. Candidates with strong writing, producing and photography skills encouraged to apply. Weekends, holidays and overtime as needed required. Compensation & Benefits Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $25.96-26.87 per hour. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
