We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team and contribute to the outstanding care we provide.

 

Job Summary:

As a CNA at Kennesaw Village, you will play a crucial role in supporting our residents with their daily activities and personal care needs. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility, as well as monitoring and reporting changes in residents' conditions. Your compassionate and attentive care will help ensure our residents enjoy a comfortable and fulfilling life.

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

- Provide mobility support, including transferring residents and assisting with walking and physical therapy exercises.

- Monitor and document residents' physical and emotional conditions, reporting any changes to the nursing staff.

- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the nursing staff.

- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, adhering to infection control practices and safety protocols.

- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and team members to create a supportive and caring community.

 

Qualifications:

- Must have a current CNA certification and a certificate of completion from an accredited CNA training program.

- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CNA, preferably in an assisted living or long-term care setting.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with residents and their families.

- Compassionate, patient, and committed to providing high-quality care.

- Ability to handle the physical demands of the job, including lifting and transferring residents.

- Basic understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and best practices in resident care.
