Incorporated in 1937 by a group of rural citizens, it exists today to distribute quality service and electricity to the members in portions of six counties: Parke, Putnam, Clay, Vigo, Montgomery and Fountain. As your utility, we serve over 9,000 residential, commercial, and industrial members and are governed by a board of seven member-elected directors who oversee the general business affairs of the cooperative. Parke County REMC has full time employees that are ready to serve your electrical and member needs.Job DescriptionAre you a friendly, organized, and member-focused person who enjoys helping others? We're looking for a Member Services Associate to join our team and be one of the welcoming faces our members interact with every day.In this role, you'll welcome and assist members and visitors at our walk-in and drive-thru window. You'll provide excellent service to our members, assist with account and billing questions, process payments, answer incoming calls, and help connect members with the right resources.
