Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated healthcare professional to join a Resource Float Pool team within a large hospital system. This role requires experience in Level I Trauma and a strong background in a diverse range of adult health units.

Responsibilities

• Float throughout two campuses to provide support in various adult health units as needed.
• Work in multiple units, including Observation, Medical Surgical, Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Intermediate Care Unit (IMC).
• Occasionally assist in the Emergency Department (ED) or Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) with adult health patients awaiting inpatient beds.
• Adapt to diverse clinical settings and patient needs with flexibility and professionalism.

Facility Information

The role involves floating between two campuses, located in:

• BUMC-Tucson, Tucson, AZ (Level I Trauma, 625 beds)
• BUMC-South, Tucson, AZ (Level III Trauma, 245 beds)

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a Level I Trauma setting.
• Proven ability to work in various adult health environments.
• Strong clinical skills and adaptability to meet the needs of different units.
