Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ED - Emergency Department Discipline: RN Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Travel RN – Med-Surg / ED | Colorado 13-Week Contract | Night Shift | 36 Guaranteed Hours | Quick Start Position Details Location: Meeker, Colorado Start: ASAP / Quick Start Contract: 13 weeks Shift: Nights Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Patient Ratio: 1:5 Holiday Coverage: Required — no holiday RTO EMR: Meditech Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult acute-care patients in a Med-Surg/ED setting Perform thorough assessments and develop individualized plans of care Monitor patient conditions and promptly recognize changes in clinical status Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to orders and protocols Care for spine and orthopedic post-operative patients Manage patients with medical-surgical and emergency care needs Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Provide patient education and discharge planning Maintain safe patient ratios and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care Requirements Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license required Minimum 4 years of Med-Surg / ED experience Strong Med-Surg experience required Spine/Ortho post-op patient experience required ED/acute-care experience preferred Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certificationsN Ability to work night shifts and holidays COVID vaccination required per applicable state mandate Must live at least 65 miles from the facility — local travelers will not be considered CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #299281.
