What You'll Do As a Manufacturing Press Technician, you'll be a key player in our production process, ensuring quality products while maintaining our equipment and safety standards. Quality & Precision Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) Monitor product quality and stop production when standards aren't met Maintain accurate production and quality records in our computer systems Equipment & Maintenance Perform preventive maintenance: lubrication, safety checks, and minor repairs Keep work areas clean and safe from debris, oil, and hazards Operate and maintain press equipment following established procedures Material Management Safely operate forklifts and overhead hoists Load/unload raw materials and verify material specifications Transport materials efficiently in pedestrian and confined areas Technical Skills Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems and charts Document production data accurately in operating systems What We're Looking For Essential Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving skills Manufacturing experience OR demonstrated mechanical skills Ability to stand/walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs Commitment to safety and environmental procedures Preferred Experience: Previous press operation experience Forklift certification (training provided if needed) Experience with precision measurement tools Why Choose Jagemann Stamping?
