Job Title: Forklift Operator Job Description

Operate a stand-up forklift in the warehouse area of a foods production facility. There are two specific roles available: Production Support and Order Picking.

• Transport raw materials to production areas and load skids onto trucks for Production Support.
• Pick orders and stage them in the warehouse area for Order Picking, which involves lifting boxes weighing 20-30 lbs.

• 1+ years of experience with stand-up forklift operation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficiency in English for speaking and reading.

• Experience with material handling and inventory management.
• Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes.
• Familiarity with pallet jack and sit-down forklift operations.

Enjoy a competitive raise to $24.27 in base pay upon conversion to direct hire, with a shift differential of $1.50 for hours worked past 6pm. The role is based in a foods manufacturing facility with a warehouse area, adhering to GMP guidelines. Shifts vary, with options including: 1st shift from 6:00am to 2:30pm, Production Support from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, and Order Picking from 2:30pm to 11:00pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lenexa, KS.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
