Creedmoor Psychiatric Center (CPC), an Office of Mental Health (OMH) Joint Commission accredited facility, is recruiting Board Eligible or Board-Certified Psychiatrists for their inpatient units located in Queens, NY.

As a Psychiatrist at CPC, you will provide comprehensive, patient-centered, and recovery- focused treatments for individuals with mental health symptoms 18 years of age or older; including:

• Conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments and patient admissions
• Creating treatment plans including medication management
• Obtaining and reviewing appropriate laboratory tests and consulting with members of treatment team as needed
• Providing individual, group, and family psychotherapy
• Supervising Psychiatric Residents and Fellows

CPC, one of the largest and culturally diverse OMH facilities, provides a continuum of care for individuals from the borough of Queens who require intermediate and extended mental health treatment through inpatient and outpatient services. CPC is a large, urban facility with 337 inpatient beds, 146 outpatient residential beds, an Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Team, and a wide array of other outpatient programs. CPC's comprehensive service delivery focuses on individualized and person-centered care.

Minimum Qualifications:

Psychiatrist 1: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and completion of a training program in psychiatry approved by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN).

Psychiatrist 2: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.
