Edwards Lifesciences seeks an Azure Cloud Architect to design and implement secure, scalable cloud solutions supporting new product development. The role involves collaborating across security, data, and operations teams to establish infrastructure-as-code practices, DevOps pipelines, and cloud architecture aligned with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of scalable cloud solutions meeting New Product Development requirements and regulatory standards
- Architect end-to-end cloud and microservices solutions; partner with stakeholders to assess business needs
- Establish Infrastructure-as-Code practices and DevOps pipelines across all cloud workloads
- Collaborate with Cloud Operations and Security teams to vet solutions prior to deployment
- Conduct code reviews and evaluate emerging technologies for organizational adoption
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Management Systems, or related technical field
- Minimum six years of professional experience in cloud architecture or related roles
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services
- Demonstrated expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation
- Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and automation pipeline design
- Proficiency in at least two programming languages from Java, Python, C++, or JavaScript
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies like Kubernetes
Compensation: $126,000-$178,000 base
