2nd Shift CNC Laser Operator

Cnc Laser Operator We are currently hiring an experienced CNC Laser Operator for a metal manufacturing and fabrication facility in Fairfield, OH. This position is responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC laser machines to support high-quality and efficient production in a fast-paced metal fabrication environment while following all safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC laser machines Locate and load the correct laser programs into the machine Load and unload sheet metal and finished parts using proper material handling equipment Verify machine settings and monitor equipment throughout production Troubleshoot machine and processing issues as needed Inspect finished parts for dimensional accuracy and quality using precision measuring tools Perform grinding, dressing, deburring, and other secondary operations as required Perform routine machine maintenance and assist with preventative maintenance Identify and report machine, material, or quality issues Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety procedures Participate in cross-training and continuous improvement initiatives Requirements 1+ years of CNC laser or CNC equipment operating experience preferred Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Experience working with sheet metal and metal fabrication preferred Basic math skills Experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other measuring tools Familiarity with CNC laser machine setup, operation, and basic maintenance Ability to troubleshoot machine and production issues Must be able to become certified to operate powered industrial equipment Basic computer skills for loading programs and entering production or quality information Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs. throughout the shift Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience Pay: $22.00$25.00/hour Shift: 2nd Shift Location: Fairfield, OH
