Job Description As a Security Officer Screening Operations in Norcross, GA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Screener at a fast‑paced logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry activity, conduct screening procedures, and support daily operations through visible presence, clear communication, and strong attention to detail. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $16.33 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeMon 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, and staff by following site‑specific procedures, access screening protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Screen individuals, vehicles, packages, and/or deliveries entering or leaving the location in support of security‑related policies and shipment handling requirements. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, and report unusual activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns in a calm, problem‑solving manner. Respond to incidents and critical situations with professionalism, document observations, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, noting conditions that could impact operations, access control, and/or security‑related procedures. Minimum Requirements At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
