Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist

Pay: $20.00-$21.52 per hour (depending on related experience?

The Work:

The Eligibility and Enrollment Specialist will work directly in the Youth Service Program. The Eligibility & Enrollment Specialist receives and process all referrals to services, verifies eligibility, and completes insurance authorizations. They will repost directly to the Youth Services Program Director.

The Qualifications:

Excellent interpersonal communication and sound writing skills are essential. Ability to relate to individuals of diverse ages and backgrounds. Knowledge of agency policies and procedures. Knowledge of OMH and DOH regulations. Knowledge of computer systems and applications. Skill in gathering interpreting, and reporting information. Ability to organize work effectively and use time efficiently. Ability to work independently and make good judgment in task completion. Ability to manage status of multiple tasks concurrently. Must have a valid driver’s license and driving record that meets agency insurability guidelines.

-Required qualifications: A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or a related field with at least two years of experience in human services working with children, youth and families.

-Must clear the State Central Registry Clearance, Staff Exclusion List Clearance and OMH Criminal Background Check (CFTSS) and DOH Criminal History Review Check (HCBS) for criminal convictions.
