Program Assistant

Overview Families First of Minnesota is seeking a Program Assistant for full-time, part-time year at Mount Olive and The Place – Rochester, MN. The role supports a safe, developmentally appropriate learning environment for children and collaborates with center staff, parents, children, and community members. Responsibilities Supervise children and facilitate daily and weekly activities. Provide guidance to children in social interactions and support a positive classroom environment. Maintain professional interactions with center staff, parents, children, and external partners as applicable. Qualifications Minimum of a Child Development Associate (CDA) certification. Demonstrated enrollment in a program toward completion of these credentials within two years is acceptable. Experience or training in Early Childhood is preferred but not required. Compensation and Schedule Exempt position scheduled for 40 hours/week, Monday–Friday, between 7:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., with occasional evening events. Compensation starts at $21.04/hour, based on education level.
