Essential duties and responsibilities include collaborating with the service team to ensure processes are completed, overseeing and managing the process, acting as the main point of contact for the service team, thoroughly reviewing submissions to the insurance market, facilitating insurance placement strategy calls, submitting submissions to market, negotiating coverage, terms, and pricing, carefully reviewing all quoted exposures, forms, terms, and conditions, preparing and presenting quote comparisons and proposals, finalizing and completing bind orders, understanding agency management system, maintaining ongoing communication, acting as a collaborative member of the agency, demonstrating technical expertise, and meeting requirements such as being licensed as a Texas P&C Agent or able to obtain Texas P&C license, having minimum of 4-6 years of experience in middle market business insurance, demonstrating ability to multi-task, prioritizing work effectively, being proficient at Sagitta, EPIC, Word, Excel, and current internet technologies, demonstrating proactive work style, ability to learn, analyze and comprehend various lines of insurance and communications, and demonstrating ability to service clients effectively through problem solving, appropriate confidentiality, and exercising diplomacy, sensitivity and tactfulness.
