Role & Responsibilities

The Patient Access Representative greets and registers patients, answers calls, schedules appointments, and manages medical charts.

• Provides excellent customer service following best practices.
• Accurately collects demographic, insurance, and physician information.
• Verifies insurance eligibility, pre-certification, and referral requirements, instructing patients accordingly.
• Identifies self-pay patients and refers to financial assistance.
• Maintains communication with relevant departments and clinical staff.
• Assists in onboarding new employees.

Qualifications & Skills

High school diploma required; associate's degree preferred. CPR certification may be needed.

Demonstrates computer proficiency, strong organizational and customer service skills.

Preferred One Year Healthcare Experience.

Physical & Additional Requirements:

Must be able to perform various physical tasks, multitask under stress, and adapt to a dynamic environment.

The role involves working with patient data, equipment, and in potentially challenging settings.

Flexibility and strong communication are essential.
