Prepared Meals and Rotisserie Chicken Associate Fishkill, NY Position Summary Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes, and organization? Our prepared meal and rotisserie chicken associates prepare fresh food items daily for our members through following recipes and preparing our always warm and ready rotisserie chicken. We’ll also count on you to properly wrap, label, and store merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. Your smile can make the difference between a good shopping experience and a great one. You'll do these responsibilities Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise; collaborate with cross‑functional teams and help educate other associates on tools, tasks and resources. Prepare food according to item specifications; understand and plan future productions and mass productions; prepare for seasonality; adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, inventory management. Operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment; demonstrate understanding of product and layout execution. Leverage digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement; use handheld technology to make immediate business decisions related to production, training, and product quality. Drive the performance of the area; manage high exposure and expectations; stock and rotate merchandise; ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; guide peers and address customer needs. Advocate for the department; model high quality service and products; execute basics at highest possible level of quality; exhibit energy, commitment, and passion for the work. Comply with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity; collaborate with managers, co‑workers, customers, and other business partners to prioritize tasks and recommend improvement opportunities. What you're expected to excel at: Ensuring high‑quality products are available in our prepared foods area. Keeping shelves clean; maintaining temperature control, verifying expiration dates, and disposing of lesser‑quality food products. Preparing and serving ready‑to‑eat food. Maintaining the sales floor in accordance with company policies and procedures—handling claims and returns, zoning the area, arranging and organizing merchandise, and identifying shrink and damages. Maintaining a clean, sanitized, and member‑ready area. Additional Compensation The hourly wage range for this position is $19.00–$27.00, with additional performance incentives and premiums up to $3.00 per hour based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Minimum Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. Successfully complete all job‑required trainings and assessments within a prescribed time period. Preferred Qualifications Food Service experience. Food Handler Certification (Food Safety).
