HUMAN SERVICES PROGRAM SPECIALIST

Human Services Program SpecialistThis position is located at the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County, 400 W. Airport Blvd Sanford, FL 32773. The base salary range is $40,000 to $41,989.00. This is a highly responsible Hepatitis and STD surveillance position under the direct supervision of the STD Program Manager. Responsibilities include disease prevention outreach and coordination of follow up and referrals. The position requires competence in the State's internet-based MERLIN surveillance system and the Health Management System (HMS). The incumbent will also be responsible for tracking all Hepatitis risk assessments and lab results, performing case-management duties, and assisting with the vaccine inventory. Additionally, the position involves developing public health education materials, providing educational presentations, and conducting community outreach and education for targeted populations.
