Overview
Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (ER) travel assignment in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Start date July 6, 2026 for a 13-week contract. Weekly pay $2,082–$2,274, with guaranteed hours at 36 per week. Shift is 3x12-hour nights (3:00 PM–3:00 AM) in a hospital setting. BSN required with 2+ years ER experience; local or travel candidates welcome. Prior contract/travel experience preferred. End-of-week (EOW) scheduling requirements apply; RTO requests will be considered but must cover the full 13 weeks of the assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, patient-centered care to ED patients across a broad acuity range, including rapid assessment and triage.
- Perform timely administration of medications and IV therapies per physician orders; monitor and interpret patient responses.
- Manage frequent changes in patient condition, initiate appropriate interventions, and escalate to physicians or charge staff as needed.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team (physicians, techs, case managers, social workers) to coordinate timely and effective patient care plans.
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation in the electronic medical record; ensure appropriate monitoring, documentation, and safety practices.
- Adhere to infection prevention, quality improvement, and safety protocols; support patient and family education as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active RN license valid for Pennsylvania (or eligibility to practice in Pennsylvania)
- BSN degree required
- Minimum 2 years ED/ER nursing experience
- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts with rotation; every-other-weekend duties (EOW) as required
- Prior contract or travel nursing experience preferred
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced ED environment and to adapt to assignment requirements
- RTO requests considered but must cover the full 13-week block
