Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 1+ years License: Valid RN license in the state Certifications: BLS, CPI/HWC Must-Have Skills/Experience: Basic RN skills Behavioral health and medical/surgical experience Description: This position is for a Registered Nurse in the Behavioral Health specialty. The role focuses on providing care for geriatric patients. The unit consists of 12 beds and utilizes a team nursing approach. The electronic health record system used is Meditech. Common diagnoses include dementia and other related conditions. Candidates should possess professional demeanor and communication skills. Previous behavioral health experience is preferred but not required. A valid RN license and required certifications are mandatory prior to starting. Dress code requires appropriate scrubs, avoiding casual wear and other branded clothing. This position is part of a new and expanded service line in the facility.
